I’ve spent my life as an artist exploring ideas and bringing them to life across a range of media. My vocabulary includes: blue and white China, teapots, checkerboard patterns, botanical illustrations, flying elephants, the elements, flower blooms, anything hot pink, intricate patterns, linen, explorations of natural light, Munnums, stars, water, and typography.
Art is the best excuse to hang out with color, light, fiber, history, and memories; to dive amongst them and make them manifest. Sospiro. Exhalation. Art is my breath. I make, in order to see. It gives me life. Whatever the medium, it instructs me and expands the heart as it stretches the brain. Sometimes, transcendence occurs within this process and in that moment all is right with the world.
